Tevin Shipp could have chosen to give up playing the sports he loves at a young age.

His body would have likely felt better during his four years at Smyrna High School.

But his heart just wouldn’t let him.

“It was tough … but I love sports and I just couldn’t quit,” said Shipp, who was told by doctors in middle school that he would have to give up sports or endure pain in his knees.
